Manas Festival – Everything You Need to Know

The festival map for this year will be available soon HERE.

Location

Manas Festival is located at: 8693 Lengyeltóti, Rágniczapuszta 4.

If you search for „Manas Festival” on Google Maps, you will see the service entrance location. Continue 700 meters past this point, and you will reach the festival entrance on the left.

Upon arrival, please wait in your car along the marked road until it is your turn to collect your wristband.
Have the QR code from your ticket email ready for scanning to receive your wristband. (Children under 12 do not need a ticket, but proof of age is required at the entrance.)

Once inside, follow the signs to find the perfect spot for your stay. Those arriving with children and wishing to camp in the Family Camping area can turn left shortly after entry. Others will continue to the main car camping area, those preferring a more secluded spot can explore further zones of the festival until there is space available.

Designated parking areas (P) are available, from which you can follow the marked paths on foot to shaded, forested camping areas within the festival grounds.

If you get lost, our staff at key points can provide directions and may also check your wristband.

All ticket types grant full access to the festival grounds, all programs, and camping.
The Supporter Ticket does not currently offer extra benefits but helps support the development of Manas Garden and the festival itself.

To speed up entry, save your ticket on your phone in advance, as the QR code is required to receive your wristband.

Camping

This year, we are expanding the camping areas to provide more space and comfort. A new entrance has been added to speed up entry.

With the expanded area, we are also improving infrastructure by building new paths, compost toilets, and showers, and designating a quiet, forested camping zone for families.

The festival camping offers a nature-immersed experience:

  • Some areas allow you to park your car or campervan right next to your tent.
  • Other shaded, inner zones are pedestrian-only for a more tranquil camping experience.

Shaded car camping spots are available but limited—bringing a shade tarp is recommended.

Key Facilities:

  • Central water block with showers & flushing toilets
  • Eco-friendly compost toilets & urinals across the site (please use biodegradable products only)
  • Lockers with charging stations for phones and laptops (various sizes available)
    • Bring a padlock or rent one at the Info Desk for a 5,000 HUF deposit

Important Rules:

  • Do not leave valuables in your tent. Keep them with you, in your car, or in a locker.
  • BBQs are allowed, but open fires are prohibited. However, you can gather around the supervised bonfire at the Grove area near the lake.
  • Keep the campsite clean! Use the cigarette butt collectors provided at the entrance.

What to Bring?

  • Tent, sleeping bag, pillow
  • Natural soap & eco-friendly sunscreen
  • Mosquito repellent & disinfectant
  • Headlamps, camping lights, or fairy lights
  • Reusable bottles, plates, and utensils
  • Swimsuit, inflatable mattress, or floaties
  • Bank card or cash

Manas Festival offers a diverse range of programs focused on music, arts, movement, and self-development:

  • Three music stages: Portal, Bowl, and Field
  • Yoga, Qi Gong, and self-awareness workshops
  • Ecstatic dance, Shakti dance, sound therapy, family constellations, and bodywork
  • Mandala art creation & release ceremony
  • Juggling playgrounds & art workshops
  • Permaculture talks & workshops

All programs are free to attend.

  • The Field stage offers bodywork and movement therapy programs during the day without prior registration. Live music takes over in the evenings.
  • Tipi tent workshops have limited capacity—please sign up at the venue one hour before the session starts.

A detailed schedule and program descriptions will be available soon on the festival website.

The festival offers a wide selection of food at the Food Court and the Festival Canteen, and this year, drinks will be available at five different bars.

Payment:

Both cash and card payments are accepted in Hungarian Forints.
Due to increased mobile network congestion, we recommend bringing a bank card and/or cash, as mobile payments may occasionally experience disruptions.

For sustainability reasons, please bring your own plate and utensils to help reduce our environmental impact.

Children

  • Entry is free for children under 12 years old.
  • Children under 16 can only attend with an adult guardian.
  • If you’re bringing a minor, you can access the newly designated Family Camp, marked with signs, located on the quiet, shaded side of the lake.
  • Upon entry, minor attendees will receive a white wristband where we ask parents/guardians to write their phone number.
  • We recommend agreeing on a meeting point (Info Desk or First Aid Station) in case you get separated. These locations are in the festival center and can assist concerned parents or lost children.

Pets

  • Well-behaved, non-aggressive, and non-in-heat pets are allowed in camping areas but not at music stages or by the lake.
  • All pets must have a vaccination certificate (including rabies vaccination).
  • Dogs must always be on a leash!
  • Leaving pets inside vehicles during the day is strictly prohibited!

Manas Garden and its surroundings are a priority for us, and we are working on ecological regeneration. Please help us by following these guidelines:

  • Camp only in designated areas, leaving protected zones undisturbed.
  • Do not litter, and never drop cigarette butts.
  • Do not drive over newly planted trees or bushes.
  • Avoid polluting the lake and respect the local wildlife.
  • Do not use the lake as a toilet and do not fish in it.
  • Generators are not allowed in the camping area to maintain peace.
  • If using a headlamp, point it towards the ground to avoid blinding others.

Our sustainability efforts:

  • We are building eco-friendly compost toilets and showers and continuously expanding their number.
  • Food Court vendors use only biodegradable tableware.
  • We provide reusable cups and minimize the use of single-use plastics.
  • Selective and compost waste bins are available across the festival, and we ensure proper collection and processing.
  • We actively plant trees and other vegetation and build drainage ditches to protect the area from agricultural chemicals.

Drinking Water and Hygiene

  • Drinking water is available at taps near the restrooms and event areas. Please check the signs, as some taps are for handwashing only.
  • Always use eco-friendly creams and cleaning products.

Lake Usage

  • Swimming in the lake is allowed during the day but prohibited at night for safety reasons.

Medical Assistance

  • A First Aid Station is located next to the Info Desk, where you can seek help anytime.

PsyCare

  • If you or someone else needs emotional rather than physical support, trained professionals are available at the Mandala Pavilion, offering a safe space and care.

Accessibility

  • The festival has accessible toilets and showers—please check at the Info Desk for locations.
  • If you require on-site assistance and need to park close to the festival center, please inform staff when receiving your wristband, and they will guide you accordingly.

The Manas Festival is built on openness and cooperation.

We ask that you:

  • Respect fellow attendees and the festival’s spirit.
  • Connect, unwind, and be present in the moment.
  • Keep noise levels low near daytime workshops, meditation, and spiritual programs.
  • The festival is intentionally ad-free—please avoid displaying commercial brands.
  • To maintain the spirit of inclusivity, do not bring national flags, as we are all part of the same family here.

With this guide, you’re fully prepared for the Manas Festival experience!

Enjoy the music, the community, and nature responsibly, with openness and acceptance!
